Tinc

Privacy, simply.

Your photos stay on your phone. We don't collect anything about you. That's the whole policy — but here are the details.

Effective May 10, 2026

Photos & data

Tinc processes your photos entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks (such as PhotoKit). Your photos are never uploaded to any server, never sent to us, and never shared with any third party.

Tinc requests access to your photo library only to read the images you choose to use. You can grant or revoke this access at any time in your iOS Settings.

Analytics & tracking

Tinc does not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. We don't know who you are, what you do in the app, or how often you open it. There are no user accounts.

What Apple may collect

If you've opted in to share crash and usage data with developers in your iOS settings, Apple may share anonymized crash reports and aggregate App Store statistics with us. This is controlled entirely by Apple and your device — you can opt out in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

If you email us

If you contact us at tinc.app.help@gmail.com, we'll see your email address and whatever you write to us. We use this only to reply to your message — no mailing list, no follow-up marketing.

Children

Tinc is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the effective date above.
